New York Gov. Kathy “Bozo” Hochul delivered a low blow to supporters of Donald Trump Thursday calling them “clowns” in a remark some are comparing to former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s “basket of deplorables” comment in 2016.
Hochul make the remarks while bragging about her confidence in President Joe Biden’s electoral prospects in the Empire State to CNN’s Jake Tapper (Jake Crapper) before Trump’s Thursday rally in the Bronx. “I’ll tell you what won’t make a difference at all, Jake, and that’s for Donald Trump to be the ringleader and invite all his clowns to a place like the Bronx,” Hochul said.
